             Escondido Charter's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They never let the Orange Glen Patriots onto the board and left with  a   51-0  win. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.
  Jacob Schumacher was a one-man wrecking crew for Escondido Charter as he rushed for 105 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. Those 105  rushing yards gave  Schumacher a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Joe Scates, who threw for 142 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Escondido Charter was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 203  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Escondido Charter's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB  nine times.  Aj Graff was especially locked on to Orange Glen's QB and sacked him twice.
 Escondido Charter's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Orange Glen,  they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
 Escondido Charter will face off against Santa Fe Christian at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Santa Fe Christian's defense has only allowed 7.9  points per game  this season, so Escondido Charter's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Orange Glen, they and Bishop's are set to duel  on Saturday. Bishop's knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Orange Glen likes a good challenge.
