After a string of four wins, St. Thomas Episcopal's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 71-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Thomas Catholic Eagles. If the Saints were looking for revenge after losing 59-48 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Leading St. Thomas Catholic to victory were Evan Levy and Drin Tafilaj. Levy went 8 for 18 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds, while Tafilaj dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Caesar, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

St. Thomas Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for St. Thomas Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kinkaid the next time they take the court. St. Thomas Episcopal will head out to face Kinkaid at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while St. Thomas Catholic will play them later in the day, at 8:00 a.m.
