Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Lanesville's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southwestern.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 11-25, 25-8.

Rock Creek Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-19. As for Lanesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.
