Soccer Recap: Delaware Valley Comes Up Short

Delaware Valley managed to slip by Warwick the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Wildcats on Monday, falling 8-1. While losing is never fun, Delaware Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 212th in Pennsylvania, while Warwick are ranked 64th in New York).

This is the second loss in a row for Delaware Valley and nudges their season record down to 4-3-2. As for Warwick, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Delaware Valley will be playing at home against Valley View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warwick, they will face off against Arlington at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
