Softball Game Preview: Franklin Quakers vs. Ingraham Rams

Franklin is 1-9 against Ingraham since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Quakers are taking a road trip to take on the Rams at 4:00 p.m. Franklin has given up an average of 10.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Franklin's offense. They came up short against Chief Sealth on Thursday, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Quakers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Ingraham lost 14-4 to Nathan Hale on Saturday. The Rams have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

This is the second loss in a row for Franklin and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Ingraham, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Franklin was able to grind out a solid victory over Ingraham when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 16-12. Will the Quakers repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
