Basketball Recap: Trevor Mcclure's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mt. Vernon over Dyett

Mt. Vernon was the 49-39 winner over Dyett when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Mt. Vernon Rams fell to the Dyett Eagles 48-42.

Mt. Vernon's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trevor Mcclure, who posted 14 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Cale Maurer, who had seven points and ten rebounds.
