Basketball Recap: Lexi Oder Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Mountain Range

Boulder's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mountain Range Mustangs by a score of 51-40. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Boulder's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lexi Oder, who posted 19 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Remi Kingdom was another key player, going 6 for 15 on her way to 13 points along with five boards and four steals.

Boulder smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

When it comes to explaining why Mountain Range lost, don't look at Delilah Lucero. Despite the final result, she went 6 of 10 en route to 15 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Camila Jimenez, who scored five points and three steals.

Boulder has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Mountain Range, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-7.

Boulder has already played their next contest, a 44-25 win against Fairview on the 16th. As for Mountain Range, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 58-26 victory against Prairie View on the 16th.
