Two dominant guards in Grace Wehring and Berkley Hart are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Second Baptist Eagles and the Alamo Heights Mules will face off at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Second Baptist is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59 points per game this season.

Second Baptist proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 53) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past MacArthur 42-39. Those 42 points were actually the fewest the Eagles have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Second Baptist's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reese Ertan, who shot 56% from the field en route to 12 points. Ertan continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Baker, who posted six points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Alamo Heights suffered their closest loss since January 10th on Friday. They fell just short of La Vernia by a score of 49-46.

Alamo Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Second Baptist, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
