Volleyball Recap: San Jon Starts Season with Loss at Home

San Jon unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Clovis Christian Eagles on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

While San Jon was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Clovis Christian's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-16.

Coincidentally, San Jon and Clovis Christian will both be playing Wagon Mound the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Coyotes will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
