Basketball Recap: South Lakes Comes Up Short

South Lakes and Westfield squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but South Lakes had to settle for second. They fell 56-46 to the Westfield Bulldogs. That makes it the first time this season the Seahawks have let down their home crowd.

Westfield's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but William Robinson led the charge by putting up 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jemon Price, who posted nine points.

South Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Westfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

South Lakes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-44 win against George C. Marshall on the 25th. As for Westfield, they have also already played their next contest, a 63-30 victory against Wakefield on the 25th.
