Basketball Game Preview: Raymond Rams vs. St. Thomas Aquinas Saints

Raymond hasn't had much luck against St. Thomas Aquinas recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Raymond Rams will challenge the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints at 5:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Raymond ended up a good deal behind Campbell and lost 41-23. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, St. Thomas Aquinas put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Somersworth 63-17. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Toppers are ranked 87th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Thomas Aquinas pushed their record up to 17-0 with the victory, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Raymond, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Raymond was taken down by St. Thomas Aquinas 60-11 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Raymond avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
