Baseball Recap: Noblesville Wins Going Away Against Franklin Central

Noblesville won the last time they faced Franklin Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Millers put the hurt on the Flashes with a sharp 10-3 win. The Millers not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 3rd (when they won 16-9).

Noblesville got a great performance from Eli Hall as he struck out nine batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Hall has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Aiden Reynolds was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. Tanner Miller was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

The victory made it two in a row for Noblesville and bumps their season record up to 7-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Franklin Central, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Noblesville will host Hamilton Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Millers are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Franklin Central, they will welcome Shelbyville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Flashes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Bears have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
