Volleyball Recap: Exeter Township Gets the Win

Marian Catholic typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Exeter Township proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Marian Catholic.

Exeter Township had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-15.

Marian Catholic's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caydense Smith, who had 15 digs and three assists.

The victory got Exeter Township back to even at 6-6-1. As for Marian Catholic, they moved to 14-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Exeter Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marian Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Weatherly on the 9th.
