Saugus lost to Salem back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Sachems came out on top against the Witches by a score of 3-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Saugus were the better team in the second half.

Saugus' victory bumped their record up to 3-10-1. As for Salem, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Saugus is set to challenge their familiar foe Winthrop at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Salem will square off against rival Swampscott at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
