After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bennett, Easton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the North Caroline Bulldogs as they made off with a 13-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Dylan Cassell, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Paxton Echternach, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Easton's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for North Caroline, their record now sits at 7-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Easton will take on St. Michaels at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Caroline, they will challenge Parkside at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
