Stevenson had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 54-point drubbing they dealt Zion-Benton on Tuesday. The Stevenson Patriots took their contest with ease, bagging a 63-9 win over the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-8.

Stevenson now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Zion-Benton, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Stevenson has already played their next game, a 38-32 victory against Lake Zurich on the 6th. As for Zion-Benton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-17 loss against Grayslake North on the 4th.
