Football Recap: Greenwood Christian Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calhoun Academy, Greenwood Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They snuck past the Eau Claire Shamrocks with a 20-16 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Eau Claire's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of LAQUARIUS SUMMERS, who gained 104 total yards and a touchdown, and KYLE WALKER, who rushed for 75 yards.

Greenwood Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Eau Claire, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Greenwood Christian will face off against Whitmire at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eau Claire, they will square off against Williston-Elko at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
