Soccer Recap: Proviso West Takes a Loss

Proviso West lost against Ridgewood back in May of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers lost 5-2 to the Rebels. Proviso West just can't catch a break and have now endured nine defeats in a row.

Proviso West's loss dropped their record down to 1-11-1. As for Ridgewood, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9-2.

Looking ahead, Proviso West is taking a road trip to challenge Oak Park-River Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Proviso West are facing Oak Park-River Forest at the right time seeing as Oak Park-River Forest are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ridgewood, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Glenbard East at 6:30 p.m.
