Football Game Preview: Whitmore Lake Trojans vs. Clarenceville Trojans + How To Watch

Whitmore Lake will venture away from home to challenge Clarenceville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Whitmore Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Clarenceville likes a good challenge.

Whitmore Lake's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Parkway Christian, posting a 41-0 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Clarenceville's offense. They took a hard 14-0 fall against Kettering on Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Trojans haven't been shut out since back in September.

Whitmore Lake pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points over those games. As for Clarenceville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Whitmore Lake against Clarenceville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Whitmore Lake since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
