Volleyball Recap: Denver Christian's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Denver Christian hadn't done well against Sedgwick County recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Thunder walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cougars. The win was nothing new for the Thunder as they're now sitting on six straight.

The victory didn't come easy: Sedgwick County scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 14-25, 25-22.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Denver Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anna Price, who had 17 assists. Price has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more assists the last four times she's played.

Denver Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matchups.

Denver Christian's record is now 8-2. As for Sedgwick County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Denver Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Forge Christian on the 9th. As for Sedgwick County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against South Platte on the 11th.
