Soccer Game Preview: Brandeis vs. Clark

The Brandeis Broncos will head out to take on the Clark Cougars at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Brandeis is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.

Brandeis is headed into the game having not lost since the second and will look to keep things rolling. They blew past Churchill 4-1 on Wednesday. With the Broncos ahead 4-1 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

They hit Churchill with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sophia Baldwin, Truly Cuevas, Keegan Vargas, and Tessa Fontenot.

Meanwhile, Clark hasn't lost a match since January 4th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. They and Madison finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Brandeis pushed their record up to 7-1-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four contests. With that draw, Clark's record moves to 7-2-2.

Brandeis came up short against Clark in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, falling 4-2. Can Brandeis avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
