Potter-Dix won the last time they faced South Platte and Callen McConnell did his part to make sure it happened again. The Coyotes took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 51-0 victory over the Blue Knights for which the team can thank McConnell, who threw for 194 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also caught one TD. His passing game has become a key predictor of Potter-Dix's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Potter-Dix's defense and their three sacks. In that department, Landon Gasseling was the leader with two.

The win made it two in a row for Potter-Dix and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points in those games. As for South Platte, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
