Recap: West Point Pointers vs. Bruton Panthers
The West Point Pointers had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by Bruton on the road and fell 78-33. West Point lost against Bruton in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 84-37 score last time.
Among those leading the charge was Brandon Freeman, who scored 15 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Khamani Phillips, who scored 12 points.
West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Bruton, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
West Point will head out on the road to face off against Northampton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bruton, they will be playing at home against Smithfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
