Easley is 7-1 against Travelers Rest since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Green Wave will be playing at home against the Devildogs at 6:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Easley turned things around against Greenwood on Friday. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 12-6 win. The Green Wave's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

The team relied heavily on Cooper Sears, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Aaron Tolbert, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Easley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Travelers Rest had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Blue Flame as they made off with an 11-5 victory. The game was the first time the Devildogs have beaten the Blue Flame on their field since March 22, 2021.

Travelers Rest's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Easley, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Easley beat Travelers Rest 8-5 when the teams last played on April 2nd. Do the Green Wave have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Devildogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
