Basketball Recap: Golden Valley Comes Up Short

Golden Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 65-37 loss at the hands of the Granite Hills Grizzlies.

Golden Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Granite Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Golden Valley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Granite Hills, they will head out on the road to face off against Orange Cove at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Granite Hills is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
