Softball Preview: Doherty Memorial Highlanders vs. St. Paul Knights

The Doherty Memorial Highlanders will head out on the road to face off against the St. Paul Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Doherty Memorial sidestepped Leominster for a 6-4 victory. The win continues a trend for the Highlanders in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won four in a row.

Riley Cormier made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
