La Salle moved up to 236 from 272 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Ski-Valley - North. The Saints climbed the ranks as a result of a 39-6 win over Pickford.

La Salle extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Panthers, 39-6. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Saints.

La Salle's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Snyder threw for 262 and four touchdowns and Cody Therrian had 108 yards receiving. On the ground Curtis St. Louis chipped in 70 yards. Joey Ostman helped La Salle's passing attack out by catching five balls for 75 yards.

The Saints' Snyder and Ostman have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Snyder has thrown for 858 yards this season, while Ostman, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 23 catches for 392 yards. Jarred Lavigne from Pickford leads the league in rushing with 539 yards.

A big matchup in Ski-Valley - North this week will be when La Salle takes on Pellston. At the moment, the Saints are in first, while the Hornets are in third.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when La Salle takes on Pellston. The Saints have allowed 18 points this season, while the Hornets have given up 127. La Salle allowed 6 points last week as it beat the Panthers.

The Saints made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,443 from 7,487. The improvement came about via a 39-6 victory over Pickford last week.
