After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mosinee, Medford was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lakeland Thunderbirds by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Thunderbirds back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Medford's win bumped their record up to 15-16. As for Lakeland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-11 record this season.

Medford will square off against D.C. Everest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Evergreens will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lakeland, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Merrill on the 11th.
