Basketball Recap: Walsenburg Comes Up Short

Walsenburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Swallows Charter Academy Spartans, falling 56-19. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-27 back in January.

Despite the loss, Walsenburg still got an impressive performance from Kaydence Perrino, who posted ten points.

Walsenburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Swallows Charter Academy, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-13.

As of now, neither Walsenburg nor Swallows Charter Academy have any future games scheduled.
