Volleyball Recap: Lake View Comes Up Short

Lake View was the 2-0 winner over Chicago Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Lake View sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-18, 24-26, 25-12.

Lake View's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Chicago Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2-1 record this season.

Lake View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chicago Academy, they will host Prosser at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday.
