Football Recap: West Memphis Takes a Loss + How To Watch

West Memphis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Valley View Blazers, falling 35-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 35-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

West Memphis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Valley View, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, West Memphis will look to defend their home field on Friday against Little Rock Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. As for Valley View, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Paragould at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The Blazers will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
