Basketball Game Preview: Williams Field Black Hawks vs. Basha Bears + Official Tickets

The Williams Field Black Hawks are taking a road trip to take on the Basha Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Williams Field got the win against Rincon/University by a conclusive 71-48. The Black Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

Williams Field's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jacai Reed, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 16 points, and Henry Rhoden, who shot 60% from the field en route to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brion O'Leary, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 12 points.

Williams Field was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They posted nine more assists than Rincon/University's also-impressive total of 12.

Meanwhile, Basha can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They strolled past Regis Jesuit with points to spare, taking the game 76-62.

Williams Field now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Basha, their record is now 5-3.

Williams Field might still be hurting after the 63-37 defeat they got from Basha when the teams last played back in November of 2019. Can the Black Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
