Syracuse skates past Layton with ease

Recap: Syracuse Titans vs. Layton Lancers

The Syracuse Titans can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They breezed by Layton at home to the tune of 59-23. The victory was familiar territory for Syracuse who now have four in a row.

Syracuse got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Avery Sanders out in front who scored 14 points along with four steals. Sanders hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Cortnie Barker, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds.

Syracuse pushed their record up to 10-3 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Layton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Syracuse will play host again and welcome Weber, where tip off is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Weber focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday. As for Layton, they will head out on the road to square off against Davis at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Davis will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
