Basketball Recap: Coliseum College Prep Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Coliseum College Prep Academy can now relate to. They took a blow against the AIMS College Prep Golden Eagles on Thursday, falling 77-34. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Nahom Solomon was his usual excellent self, going 9 of 16 on his way to 20 points and eight assists for AIMS College Prep. The match was Solomon's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Powell, who went 5 for 12 en route to 11 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.

Coliseum College Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for AIMS College Prep, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-9.

As of now, neither Coliseum College Prep Academy nor AIMS College Prep have any future games scheduled.
