Football Game Preview: Eastern Ramblers vs. Roosevelt Roughriders + How To Watch

The Eastern Ramblers will face off against the Roosevelt Roughriders at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Eastern knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Roosevelt likes a good challenge.

Eastern is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Jackson-Reed, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Eastern was ranked tenth). The Ramblers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Tigers 36-6. The win continues a trend for the Ramblers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt fell victim to Friendship Collegiate Academy and their airtight defense two weeks ago. They took a blow against the Knights, falling 30-0. Having soared to a lofty 41 points in the game before, the Roughriders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Even if they lost, Roosevelt's defense still kept up the pressure with six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Isaiah Mcvea and Delante White, who racked up all six sacks between them. White is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Eastern, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
