Baseball Recap: Hinsdale Central Takes a Loss

Hinsdale Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-1 to the Andover Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 17-13 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Hinsdale Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Robert Childs, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Hinsdale Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Hinsdale Central will head out on the road to challenge Ellicottville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Andover, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jasper-Troupsburg at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
