Football Game Preview: Louisiana Bulldogs vs. Salisbury Panthers

The Louisiana Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Salisbury Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Louisiana has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight losses, while Salisbury will come in with five straight wins.

Louisiana's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against North Callaway on Friday. They had to suffer through a 54-0 loss at the hands of the Thunderbirds. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Salisbury challenged Scotland County last Friday. The Panthers blew past the Tigers, posting a 44-8 victory. Fans of the Panthers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Salisbury's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Louisiana, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Things could have been worse for Louisiana, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 24-8 loss to Salisbury in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
