Basketball Recap: Paxton Beats West Florida Baptist Academy for Their Third Straight Win

Paxton waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the West Florida Baptist Academy Conquerors 52-37. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Conquerors, too.

Paxton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cade Stewart led the charge by dropping a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, Stewart is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Wade Borgesen, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Paxton's record now sits at 10-2. As for West Florida Baptist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
