Shelbyville Central (Shelbyville, Tenn.) etched his name in the Tennessee record books on Friday night.
The 6-foot, 180-pound quarterback went off for 602 yards passing — good enough to set the Volunteer state high school record for passing yards in a single game.
The junior also went 29-of-47 for four total touchdowns in 47-37 loss to Summit (Spring Hill, Tenn.). But he broke a 23-year-old record and had a night to remember.
Tramel has racked up 2,743 yards passing and 29 TDs with a 125 passer rating so far this season.
