It's playoff time, and St. Thomas More Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Westminster Catawba Christian Indians on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Chancellors as they're now sitting on 18 straight.

The victory didn't come easy: Westminster Catawba Christian scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 16-25, 27-25.

Portia Hale had an outrageously good game as she had 44 digs and three assists. Those 44 digs gave her a new career-high.

St. Thomas More Academy's win bumped their record up to 22-1. As for Westminster Catawba Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 14-15.

Looking ahead, St. Thomas More Academy is taking a road trip to take on Hickory Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westminster Catawba Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
