Softball Recap: Watertown Gets the Win

Watertown won the last time they faced Spearfish and things went their way on Friday too. The Arrows came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 11-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Arrows.

Aleia Johnston was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Kynslee Johnson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Watertown's record now sits at 4-8. As for Spearfish, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Watertown didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Sturgis Brown on the 9th. As for Spearfish, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 11-0 loss against Brookings on the 9th.
