Soccer Game Preview: Durango vs. Lutheran

The Durango Demons are taking a road trip to square off against the Lutheran Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Durango will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.

Durango is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let Riverdale Ridge get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Durango's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last six matches.

Meanwhile, Lutheran's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over Mullen. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lutheran.

Durango pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those eight contests. As for Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3-1.
