Jake Davenport was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Davenport wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Sandiford, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for West Shore Christian Academy's offense. They came up short against Conestoga Christian on Tuesday, falling 10-0.

High Point Baptist Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
