Baseball Recap: Huntland Hornets vs. Cornersville Bulldogs
Huntland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cornersville Bulldogs. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Chandler Banks put in work no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk).
