Basketball Game Preview: Scott Beavers vs. Larned Indians

The Scott Beavers will venture away from home to face off against the Larned Indians on Tuesday. Larned took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Scott, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Scott blew past Ulysses, posting a 54-19 win. The Beavers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Larned suffered their biggest loss since February 6, 2024 on Friday. They were beaten by Hesston 58-29. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Swathers are ranked second).

Scott now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Larned, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Scott beat Larned 50-41 when the teams last played back in February of 2019. Does Scott have another victory up their sleeve, or will Larned turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
