If Lake Braddock wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Woodson, they should've done a better job of containing Kaylen Chilton. The Woodson Cavaliers came out on top against the Lake Braddock Bruins by a score of 63-56 on Thursday thanks in part to Chilton, who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Woodson's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Lake Braddock, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Woodson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 43-35 victory against West Potomac on the 21st. As for Lake Braddock, they will face off against Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
