Baseball Recap: Cardinal Mooney Catholic Comes Up Short

Cardinal Mooney Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Divine Child Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on Thursday.

Cardinal Mooney Catholic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dan Rice, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Cardinal Mooney Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Divine Child, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cardinal Mooney Catholic will take on Gabriel Richard at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Divine Child, they will venture away from home to face off against Airport at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
