It was a good run, but Jackson unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Arlington Eagles by a score of 5-4. The Timberwolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 6-2.

Jackson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Halvorson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Jackson's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-2. As for Arlington, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson will head out to challenge Glacier Peak at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Arlington, they will venture away from home to square off against Monroe at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
