Volleyball Recap: Rankin Victorious

The Rankin Red Devils beat the Cornerstone Christian Lions 3-1 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Rankin had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 29-27, 25-17, 25-20.

Rankin's victory bumped their record up to 8-26. As for Cornerstone Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Rankin will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Comstock at 6:00 p.m. Cornerstone Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
