John F. Kennedy had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Brackenridge Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

While John F. Kennedy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16, 25-19.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John F. Kennedy will take on Burbank in a tournament on Thursday. As for Brackenridge, they will host Edison at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
